Dynamic process simulations and control of a lignite/waste to Fischer Tropsch liquids plant

This study comprises the dynamic process simulations of a HTW gasification plant for Fischer-Tropsch (FT) liquids production under transient feedstock lignite and solid recovered fuel (SRF) as well load variations. Main objective current is proof concept in unsteady conditions effective wide control novel gasification-driven liquid fuels pathway. Therefore, analysis all sub-units an integrated simulation scheme by means Aspen Plus Dynamics (APD) MATLAB/Simulink interference attempted. In this way, it possible to evaluate impact system disturbances on every stage apply required strategies ensure stability. Another aspect addressed within work alternative management materials APD environment, which inherent drawback otherwise appropriate software mentioned previous studies. The performed revealed that proposed value chain seems have respectable potential terms operational flexibility performance stability, always relation gasification-based chemical plants constraints accompany them.
